The Stihl MS181 has a modern design and uses an economical Stihl 2-MIX engine. The 31.8cc engine generates 1.5kW / 2.0hp which gives mid-range performance when compared to Stihl’s range of homeowner chainsaws. Being more powerful than the entry level models, the MS181 is fitted with a slightly wider gauge of chain to give better cutting performance.
